Jennifer Cleland, Director of Content Marketing at Roofr
Before working with Aloola, our brand didn’t reflect where the business was headed. The website felt outdated, the visuals were inconsistent, and it was hard to explain what we do at a glance. Aloola took the time to understand our business and our customers. They refreshed our branding, tightened our messaging, and rebuilt the site from the ground up. The new site is clean, modern, and finally feels like us. Everything works together, from the logo and colors to the copy on every page. I love it. It turned out way better than I expected, and the team at Aloola went above and beyond at every step.

QUESTIONS?
Questions before you book?
Want to make sure we're the right fit? These answers should help, but reach out to us anytime. We’re here to help.
What does a fractional CMO cost?
A monthly fee scoped to your days per week and what needs owning. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices. We share pricing on the first call.
Will you help us hire a full-time marketer?
Yes. We write the job description, interview, and onboard your first marketer, then hand over the SOPs, templates, and scorecard so they can run with it.
Do you actually do the work, or just advise?
Both. Advice is the easy part. When no one on your team can ship a campaign, a landing page, or a HubSpot setup, we build it ourselves.
Will you manage our existing marketer or agency?
Yes, and that's often the whole point. We set goals, run weekly reviews, and make sure your marketer, freelancers, agencies, and AI tools are pulling toward the same pipeline targets.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The first 90 days cover the audit, strategy, and build, so that's the natural starting point. After that it runs month to month. We agree on terms on the call.
How many days a week do we get?
It depends on your stage and what needs owning. We agree on days per week and scope on the first call, and the fee is monthly.
How is this different from an agency or a consultant?
An agency executes what you ask for. A consultant hands you a plan. A fractional CMO owns the number: sets the strategy, runs your team and tools, ships the work when needed, and reports on it every week.
What is a fractional CMO?
A senior marketing leader who works with you part-time, usually a set number of days a week. You get the strategy, team leadership, and accountability of a CMO without the full-time salary and equity.
Is ad spend included?
No. Ad spend is paid directly to the platforms and set with you up front. Our fee covers strategy, setup, creative, landing pages, and management.
How do you report results?
A weekly scorecard in your CRM against the targets we set together: leads, MQLs, and pipeline by channel. No vanity metrics.
Can't we just do our marketing with AI?
Yes, once it's set up right. We train your AI tools on your brand, audience, and approved proof points, then give your team the prompts and checks to use them well.
Do you keep running it, or hand it off?
Either. We build the foundations, templates, and AI setup first. Then your team runs it with our training, or we keep managing it month to month.
Which channels do you run?
Strategy and GTM, paid ads, content and email, social, SEO and AEO, and HubSpot reporting. You pick the channels. Every one is tied to pipeline targets.
What if we already have a site?
We audit it first. Sometimes a redesign is the answer, sometimes it's a few pages and a conversion fix. We scope the smallest version that gets you the result.
Does the site include SEO and AEO?
Every page ships with technical SEO, metadata, and schema, and copy written to be cited by AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity. Ongoing SEO and AEO content is part of our marketing services.
Can we edit the site ourselves after launch?
That's the point. We hand off with a Webflow walkthrough, SOPs in Notion, and a component-based build so you can add pages without breaking anything.
Do you write the copy too?
Yes. Strategy, copy, design, and build are all included. You review at each sign-off and never have to write a page from scratch.
Why Webflow?
You own it, your team can edit it without a developer, and it scales from a launch page to hundreds of SEO pages. We've designed and built every page of a Webflow site that grew traffic 500%.
Will our AI tools be able to use the brand?
Yes. Every brand sprint ends with a brand voice and messaging guide written so your AI tools produce on-brand work, plus approved proof points so they can't make things up.
How involved does our team need to be?
One kickoff, a review at each sign-off, and feedback within 48 hours. That's it. Timelines assume you respond within two business days.
Do we need a full rebrand, or can we refresh what we have?
Most founders need a refresh. A full rename or logo change can cost you SEO, links, and recognition, so we only recommend it when the current brand will hold you back. We'll tell you which one you need on the first call.
What's included in a brand sprint?
Positioning, messaging, and a brand identity you can use everywhere: logo, color, type, and a Figma style guide. Full Picture adds ICP, personas, and templates for your team. Every sprint is fixed scope, so you see the full list before you sign.
We're not sure what we need. How can you help?
We're happy to create a custom package that works for your business. We offer a diagnostic at the beginning of each agreement to see what you have, what needs improvement, and what needs to be built from scratch. Once we do a deep dive, we provide our recommendations, and you can decide what to move forward with. Zero pressure.
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes! Not every project starts from ground zero. We can work off your existing foundation, and build from there.
Do you work with businesses outside of tech?
Yes, if the fit is right. The systems are built around founder-led, high-growth companies, not specifically tech. If that's you, let's talk.
What if I only need one thing, like a logo or landing page?
We have you covered. Our “A La Carte” package lets you decide on what services you’d like.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes! We are built so you don’t need us after launch, but we’re always here for hourly work if you need additional marketing support. We offer 5 additional hours of work for free once a project ends, as long as it's minor tweaks, improvements, or automations related to the original agreement.
How long does the average package take to complete?
Most projects take 1 to 6 weeks from contract signed to final deliverables. Anything that includes web takes at least 2 weeks. We offer rush fees if you need something done ASAP.
Can we pay hourly instead of as a package?
We only offer packaged rates. Hourly billing rewards slowness. The longer something takes, the more it costs you. A package means you're paying for the expertise and the outcome, not the clock, and we're incentivized to move fast rather than bill more hours. Hourly is available only for retainers once the project is complete.
Why should we choose Aloola?
Because most agencies make you pick between a strategist who can't execute and an executor with no judgment. Aloola is built by someone who's actually run brand and marketing inside venture-backed startups, not advised from the outside, so you get senior thinking and the system to back it up, without the cost of an agency or the risk of a full-time hire.
